The Air Conditioning Returns

I thought that I would offer up some evidence that despite my past several posts I have not fully gone over to the dark side that is casual. Here are a few looks from the past week where I not only wore full-length pants, but I even sported the occasional tie. While I don’t have much to add to this post I do think that it underscores that I am (or at least no longer) an ideologue. Whether that is for better or worse is yet to be determined, but my money is on the latter.

    Great looks!

  2. All good looks! And the Labrador necktie is wonderful.

Oh, it’s for the better. Idealogues are tiresome. Stay within your guardrails and branch out now and then. Being slavish to tradition will leave you in the ranks of the Amish, and the Hasidic people. You can’t choose a year and say any evolution of style thereafter is forbidden. That being said, when you succumb to torn jeans, I will turn my eyes away.

PS The royal purple golfing shorts a few weeks back were perhaps leaning toward the worse, not in their cut but in their passion for purple. But that’s my opinion no more no less.

Pat, in a more casual setting at the office (at least at my job) blue jeans look great together with a grayish or brownish tweed jacket, OCBD and no necktie. But then again, that’s MHO 🙂

Very nice looks, Jerrod. Hope your air conditioner is keeping up with the heat. Here in Virginia, it is in the upper 90s and humid. Even a stickler like me removed my jacket about halfway through the day.

I would like to hear from you
